introducing the lima bean!
Coming soon to Bird’s Surf Shed, the lima bean, a short, extra curvy HPH variant for generating speed on those small mushy days we all love so much.

The guys up on the hill are really moving these along. Look for them at Mitch’s North soon. HPH’s (hydrodynamic planing hull/Simmons) in 5’6″ clear, 5’10” light olive, and 6’4″ caramel.

Heading west next soon. I’ve got a lot of shaping to do (for me anyway). Some for Japan, one for Puerto Rico, and some for SD. Tattooing some groovy people at Avalon Tattoo as well. Gonna be busy!

Well, another trip is on the books and after a nice trip to the high desert and a day at Avalon Tattoo hurting people, I finally had time to do three stock boards. They’re going through right now up on the hill at Bing.

Rich at Mission Surf has a great selection of very high quality merchandise and an eclectic, hand selected stash of great locally produced surfboards.
Bird’s, well what can I say? The most insane collection and old school good vibe. I’m stoked to have boards in such a rad place. Great vibe, and an awesome selection.
And I have to admit, I’m a bit proud of Bird’s Tweet after I dropped the boards. Thanks Bird. It’s an honor.
