Spring has finally arrived in the Midwest.

Local legend has it that there is, above the sky, beyond the gray, a burning disc that casts a warm light. I have seen this thing in other places. I have not seen this thing here for a very long time.

Can’t wait to see this one after the boys at Channin get finished. It’ll have fins (from Rick at Mitsven) like Takashi’s board below and a nice gray tint.

6’8″ hillbilly hull, round pin: a little higher volume and a tad more rocker than usual. Will be tinted mango.
5’7″ HPH formula 1: high performance hydrodynamic planing hull. Will have the same cool fins as Takashi’s and be tinted gray.
Both boards will get the usual flawless treatment at Channin and be available sometime in March.

Can’t wait to be shaping again at Channin. Feels like forever. Got a few ideas rattling around. I’m gonna hug my bus as soon as I get there.
