Yes, it is over a 100 degrees up here. My cooking thermometer measured 107 yesterday afternoon. In late summer, fall, and early winter our house is a heat magnet because of the way the sun is hitting it. If we were living place where warmth is needed, this would be great. Here it’s a major pain in the butt. We have been hanging out at the movies, at Target, and Home Depot (of all places) to escape the heat. Even the beach has been unbearable in the afternoons.
On a more happy note, I’m trying to bake a German-style yeast plum pie using delayed fermentation. If it turns out, I’ll blog about in a couple of days.
Sweet! You should shape one like that!!
