Well Surfindian has sold out of my boards again! I just can’t seem to make them quickly enough.
On the way:
6’10″ HPH, redwood keels, 6oz volan
9’1″ EDB arc tail, 6oz volan
7’6″ hillbilly hull, 6oz volan
and a couple more I haven’t shaped yet!

Dropped of two new boards to Surfindian that I’m very exited about. One is a 7’4″ egg in 6oz. volan that should be a great board for the summer. The other is a 7’5 1/2″ hillbilly hull with a cool white resin jailbreak stripe job. Stop down and check them out at Surfindian in beautiful Pacific Beach.
Heading out soon for my March trip to San Diego. Mostly shaping this trip. Last trip, I had a few down days, so this time I only booked ten days instead of my normal two weeks. Of course as soon as I did, I got jammed up with orders. As a result I’m shaping every day except one, and that one I’m tattooing at Avalon Tattoo in beautiful Pacific Beach. I should have time to do a few new stock boards for Chris and Masa at Surfindian. Stop in and check them out. I look forward to seeing all of my friends in the water.
This one is for the Paducah kid, you know who you are (Rich) (not you angry Rich). It’s a hybrid of a full Malibu hull with some concave running out the back for San Diego (as in not perfect point breaks). The rails are as knifey as it gets and it is oh so foiled. Coming soon to Surfindian, unless someone claims it first.
New at Surfindian.
6’0″ polka moo: Geppy #2′s, 6×6(6), gloss and polish. Beak nose, downrail, arc tail
6’7″ HPH speedster: Geppy #2′s, 6×6(6), smoke tint bands top and bottom, gloss and polish. Too sweet.
Along with the boards for Holly,Patricia and Jeremy, which are all coming along nicely at the Bing factory, are a few new boards destined for Surfindian.
6’0″ HPH beaked downrailer, Geppy #2′s, cool polka dot smoke on clear resin job from Bing, polished gloss top and bottom.
6’7″ HPH Speedster (what I ride), Geppy #2′s, black/smoke/clear band progression resin job from Bing, gloss and polish top and bottom.
7’7″ Cali Fun Gun (semi-gun), single box, blue/grey 50/50 resin job from Bing, satin gloss top and bottom. Winter is coming!
All boards will be showing up at Surfindian soon unless you snag them from me first. Thanks
Well I never made the cover of Rolling Stone, but I may have a board or two show up on MTV’s Real World. Apparently they are filming a new season in San Diego, or La Jolla to be more precise. Producers approached Chris at Surfindian about borrowing a few boards for the shoot. I’m pleased that they chose a couple of mine for the lineup, including this one. After the shoot it will be for sale once again at Surfindian in beautiful Pacific Beach.
First person to spot it on the show gets absolutely nothing from anybody and should be ashamed to be watching such mind rotting crap.
With a nudge from Matt Calvani, I’ve moved into a new approach to shaping. One of a kind, eyeball specials. Not a lot of measuring, just looking, feeling and creating. Pretty exciting. Just don’t ask me to make another one just like it. These are truly one of a kind.
Coming soon to Surfindian! Get it before Chris decides to keep it. This board will be built by Bing using 6oz Volan top and bottom, polished gloss top, satin gloss bottom, with Geppy #2′s glassed on.
